How to unlock the Grand Champion achievement in Galaga Legions DX - Definitive Guide

This achievement can be unlocked on any difficulty. You must simply finish all five levels of Championship Mode.

If you want to know more about the gameplay, play the Tutorial first. It is recommended that you play through on Easy Difficulty for the best results.

This mode gathers the hardest waves of all areas and consists of 5 levels. Since you are able to choose any difficulty to get the trophy you could do it on easy for a cakewalk. If you choose to do it on normal or hard, note that you start with a Galaga Trap. Don't forget to switch Satellites (Fire modes with L1) to suit best each situation.

go to Championship and set it to easy if you having difficulty on noraml and than clear it, you can use continues and it still counts.

From the main menu, select 'Play Game' and Championship will be at the top of the list. Championship consists of 5 levels containing the hardest waves of all Areas. Therefore, Championship is a bit harder than any other Area (and also a bit longer).

However, you will start the Championship with a Galaga Trap (gives you additional satellites and support ships if destroyed). After the first wave, each time you lose a life, you will restart the wave with all the bonuses from the Galaga Trap.

Finally you are free to choose the difficulty so play on Easy and this should be a breeze. The trophy will be yours when you have beaten the Championship.
