This might sound more difficult than it is because the trophy can be unlocked in Easy Mode. In Easy Mode, the game automatically detonates bombs to prevent the destruction of the ship.

An effective strategy is to start a game in Easy Mode and concentrate on survivability alternating between normal shots and focus fire. The Ghost Ship, with its wide angle fire, is the best option for survivability. Do not use bombs but let the game detonate them automatically for survivability. Frequent use of the focus shot will generate tech orbs that will increase the bomb gauge that, when filled, will produce extra bombs.

You need be only moderately cautious because you will generate extra lives. With six or seven lives at your disposal and using these tactics, you should be able to clear the five stages without using a continue. Once you defeat the final boss, the trophy will unlock.
