since no one wrote a solution and I had problems with this I thought I would share my conclusions of a hidden requirement in order to get this.

requirements:
* ranked match
* only "round over" and "victory" allowed (no "failures" i think but not 100% my group never failed)
* if the person needs it they MUST host it or have someone who needs it host it, if someone has the achievement already and hosts it you won't get it even if you "victory" all three maps (this was the key I did not realize)

my reason for the third rule is the following scenarios that happened.

first time two other players and myself went in. myself and one of the others needed it, but the third person already had it and hosted the game. we victory'ed all three maps and no achieve popped for anyone.

next time I hosted it and the first one we round over'd (did not trap 20 ghosts in containment), and then had two victories. at the end the other guy and me received the achievement.

hope this helps if anyone else was having problems getting it.

wtf... i don't know what else to do... i think i've done about 100 campaign.. ranked and player... tried also to host the match... right now i've played a ranked campaign with 2 people, they get the achievement and me no! -_- sorry for my english...

Yeah, online is fun but this cheevo is getting me crazy... yesterday I also unlocked randomly Employee of the Month.. and thought it was On The Payroll.
Do you think that if i clear the cache maybe the achievement pops?
Slime dunking is the best :) I always use that

Well I've hosted and completed a campaign (survived all waves, protected all pke and saved the relics in Theif) but it didn't pop. have tried a few times with Player match and Ranked but nothing. I guess it works for some and not for others!

Ive tried and tried and nothing :( Maybe if someone else hosted that didnt have it, maybe that will work for me.

I have played various games, last night 4 of us played and everyone got the achievement except me! I'm so annoyed. I've played this game loads and it just pisses me off!!

This achievement, is one of a group of Multiplayer achievements that CAN glitch for you, it may or may not, some have it, some do not. The only explaination is something irratic in the achievement unlock code, this is still there even after the December 2010 patch. Only another patch will correct it, and even then probably only for "new players", unless the developer does a Multiplayer Stat server reset after another patch.

Terminal Reality can suck it. They produced a game that was broken, and then after a YEAR, they attempted to fix it, said it was fixed, and sucked people in to buy the game who avoided it because it was broken only to find out that it wasn't fixed. Now they refuse to answer emails, ignore facebook posts etc. What a second rate development company.

i am not able to get this.. i've been successful on every mission in dozens of games and still nothing.. I thought maybe its the number of players. Well just played with a team of 4 and still nothing. This games achievements really are glitchy

I know this is really old, but ive been stuck on 980Gs on this game for years now... Just wondering, is there a chance this could pop if I kept playing? or is it 100% glitched for me now no matter what I do?

FYI, running this on BC asks you to overwrite the save every single time you start the game. It's really annoying. I still need this, as it didn't work the other time I did it. Looking for a session if anyone is running one.

As of 9/2/22 Online does work for this game. Based on other comments I have seen around the web achievements are working and the bugged ones may have been fixed with a patch. Some friends and I are going to work on these. Once we can confirm if everything works, I will update here.

As of now though the online portion of this game does work. There are almost no players online.

Also as a side note... if you have not played since Xbox360, this game is backwards compatible. If you start the game up on a newer console it will pull your cloud save if you have one there.

When you load the game up on a newer console it will tell you that it is going to overwrite your save data. THIS DOES NOT DELETE YOUR SAVE. It upgrades the save file for use on the newer consoles. If you still want to go back and play on the 360 then you will need to export the save (copy it) to a USB device from your 360.

from what i've been reading, this achievement is just glitchy, the only thing I can tell ya is keep trying these exact conditions as i know it worked for me. People say it has like a 50% chance of popping but it sounds like you have exceeded that :/.

only thing is to just ehave fun playing it with some buds and keep trying for it, I know I actually had some fun playing the multiplayer seeing how good I could get at slime dunking lol.
