To get this Achievement make sure you collect as many coins as possible and don't spend any. I got this Achievement on the 3rd to last level of the game.

If like me you blasted through the game as quick as possible, don't worry the count carries over to a new playthrough. Finished my first with 800 plus coins and popped the achievement after collecting 176 coins shortly after betting the first boss again.

I'm currently on 1022 coins without spending and it's not popping for some reason. Still got a couple levels to go. May have to keep playing the game after maybe as above and hope for the best.
Edit: Yep didn't pop by the end of the game unfortunately
Edit2: now up to 300 coins on the second playthrough and still no achievement.
Edit 3: just did a second run through and got 1062 coins by the end of the game and still no achievement.
