How to unlock the Daredevil achievement in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Definitive Guide

Unique jumps involve driving off a specific jump or incline in a vehicle and reaching a certain distance or height whilst successfully landing. In total there are 36 Unique Jumps found throughout the game that you need to complete. When you travel off a unique jump the camera will change to cinematic and the speed will slow down. If you complete the unique jump successfully you will be notified on the screen. You can retry the jumps as many times as you like and they are best to be attempted in a fast car or bike, such as the PCJ 600. A complete map and description of all 36 Unique Jumps can be found in the supplement guide here: LINK.

The simplest, and at the same time, time-consuming achievement. Any wrong landing can ruin the jump, so you need to be quite careful. All jumps were done on PCG 600.

I did everything, but they counted 35. I did everything on a PCJ 600. I took a sportier car and decided to jump on a concrete springboard near the Malibu club and got the missing jump.

I don’t know why no one writes about the easiest way to make any unique jump: when accelerating, quickly tap the d-pad up so that the character presses against the motorcycle. This method allows you to gain speed almost instantly and does not require a long acceleration. I realized this while jumping into the police station. Maybe everyone knows or was taught this somewhere, but I haven’t figured it out myself yet, I didn’t understand how to jump to the police station from the stairs

I strongly advise you to monitor the jump counter and take into account that if you do not save after the jump, and if the mission fails, load an old save, the jump will not be taken into account.

Please pay special attention to the jump near Malibu! It is because of this that sometimes shortcomings occur, and all because you need to land as far to the right of the bridge as possible, and not to the left (it turns out to the left if you make a long acceleration) = that’s why I advise you to take a small acceleration, but so that enter the springboard straight and without an extra degree to the left/right

There is a common problem that can really fray the nerves of players. Having completed all the jumps, I saw that only 35 out of 36 were counted. I had to redo all 36 jumps 4 times to calculate the lost one. It turned out to be a jump from the top floor of the parking lot - I slightly touched the fence with my rear wheel, so it was not counted.
From all this it follows that 35/36 is not a bug, you just need to be careful when passing. Be sure to check your jumps with statistics. On foreign sites they even advise taking screenshots with a message about performing a unique jump to make sure you don’t lose anything.
One more addition. Not only the location of the jump is important, but also the landing location and the quality of the flight. Therefore, carefully watch the video of jumping. When accelerating, tilt the stick slightly forward so that Tommy is pressed a little closer to the motorcycle, and try to maneuver less. A short acceleration is better, but without turns at all - then you can jump even higher and further than in the video.
