How to unlock the Let's Get Nuts achievement in Grease Dance - Definitive Guide
Unfortunately, this is not a solution, just some information.
The Wheel nuts micro game is part of the Greaser's Garage Mini game. First you'll have to hammer out some dents and then you'll get to tighten some wheel nuts. I used my right hand to hover over the nuts (which are rotating, just to make it trickier) and as soon as it's locked on, moved my left arm up and down, from the elbow, to tighten. If you move your arm enough you can get a nut tightened fully in three, if not it'll take four. Stop as soon as the spanner starts to struggle otherwise you'll snap the nut.
The problem is, I really couldn't get more than 6 done in the time limit so I gave up. The achievement then popped, randomly, while I was playing another mini game.
Did anyone get this legit? I hope so but just thought I'd post this anyway.

Unfortunately this has not worked for me. I had 7 and have now got most of the mini game achievements and it has not popped. I even tried in multiplayer with someone else tightening my nuts with me, we tightened a total of 13 nuts on my side ( and got a score higher than 250 for that achievement) and still no achievement has popped for me.

This achievement is incredibly difficult to do legitimately, and I personally don't know anyone who actually did it without the achievement glitch. The best known attempt was 7.5 nuts.
Oh, I said achievement glitch? What's that mean? How do you do it? Sure, let me indulge you.
The achievement Ain't No Drop Out, when unlocked while playing the song "Beauty School Drop Out" in the game mode Beauty Sleep, can trigger up to four additional subsequent achievements. This achievement unlock sequence is consistent, but the amount of subsequent achievements varies. After testing this 30+ times, I found this precise unlock order:
Ain't No Drop Out -> Hit It -> Let's Get Nuts -> Road Hodge -> On Your Marks
Basically, when you unlock Ain't No Drop Out, there is a solid chance you will unlock at least one subsequent achievement. There is absolutely zero deviance in this unlock order, only frequency of subsequent unlocks. My recommendation is to unlock the achievement Hit It to eliminate the need to unlock two subsequent achievements, giving you a much higher likelihood of unlocking Let's Get Nuts with this glitch.
If you unlocked Ain't No Drop Out already, you can NOT repeat this specific glitch. You will have to attempt this legitimately the hard way.
It's also known that unlocking Band Leader can unlock Ain't No Drop Out, which happens to be the subsequent achievement to Band Leader. This is untested, but with the same logic, it may be possible for the player to have Ain't No Drop Out and Hit It unlocked, then hitting the subsequent glitch with Band Leader to unlock Let's Get Nuts.
For those trying this legit, here is your best bet:
Tightening wheel nuts: This requires the player to quickly lock on and tighten the wheel nuts as they rotate around in a circle. This isn't too difficult, and the player should aim for at least 6 nuts in a run. Note, as you crank the last crank of the nut, you'll notice the crank slows. As the crank nears the end, drop your arm and wait for the wrench to disappear. This nets 10,000 points for each nut. Clearing all four nuts will net a bonus. In competitive mode, the opposing player can hold your wheel by hovering over a nut on your wheel and maintaining it. Once the player is down to the last nut, quickly shift the opposing player off so you can quickly crank it. The opposing player can then hover over a completed nut on your wheel, which will automatically lock on once the wheel refreshes. This keeps the wheel from spinning, making it easier for the main player to hover over the next nut.

This trophy requires skills and truly speed! This minigame has 3 sections:
- Hammering
- Tightening
- Painting
For the first trophy, you need to play the second section Tightening.
Here, you need to lock the nut with the button, and tight the bolt moving up and down; be careful not to over-tighten it. You need 8 for the trophy, so you need to be fast! If you complete the first 4 nuts with 25 seconds or less, you won’t have enough time to complete them and need to restart.
After a few tries, you will find the time to do it on time to gain the trophy.
