How to unlock the Serve to convince achievement in GreedFall - Definitive Guide

Pretty self explanatory, just complete 20 side quests. I hit this around level 25 after about 30(ish) hours of playing.

im currently at lvl 28, and have finished every side quest other than the researchers 2 quests (i counted 27, not including missions), up to having that main quest

glitch happen, and it still hasn't popped for me yet. Could you check to see how many you actually have? im hoping it doesn't pop exactly at 20, cuz otherwise this glitch might affect this achievement as well somehow

Currently sitting at 39 done in the side quest tab. Best guess is that companion quests don’t count, just quests you pick up in the world. I’m sitting at 24 non-companion quests (played more since posting this).

i can confirm what you said. it just clicked for me and i have just finished 20 not including companion side quests

Just for reinforcements sake, I can also confirm that the companion quests do not count toward this. Also, I don't know if you jeopardize getting this if you complete the Treason! quest and have to choose to save one city of the other (as the one you choose becomes inaccessible). I was fortunate and was able to apprehend Torsten, so both cities and all of their side quests were preserved. I also unlocked this achievement around level 28.

To comment on @Cellar Attic's comment - I had to pick a city as a result of the Treason! mission, and I have popped this achievement. So it does not jeopardize it.

There are many side-quests in GreedFall and they can be found in various places. The quests tied to faction reputations will all count towards this, thankfully, however the companion quests do not. You will find some in Serene at the start of the game, these must be completed before you leave the area as you cannot return once you leave. Be sure to speak to all available NPCs that you come across in the various cities and settlements and do as many of your side-quests as you can before completing the main quest you are currently up to so that you don't lock yourself out of any of them.
