Guitar Hero: Smash Hits

When you start a new band just change something on the preload band logo or choose edit band and change it and achievement is yours.

This should be one of the first obtainable achievements (see notes).

NOTE 1: This can ONLY be done locally as the BAND INFO option is locked until you start the career mode as a band, which requires a minimum of 2 players.

NOTE 2: You WILL need 2 instruments (standard band style) using any combination (see below).

NOTE 3: The Xbox 360 MIDI Pro Adapter for Rock Band 3 in drum mode ("D" setting) works as well. Use this with a guitar controller or standard Xbox 360 controller with microphone.

Instrument combinations:
- guitar controller (as guitarist) + - guitar controller (as bassist)
- guitar controller (as guitarist OR bassist) + drum controller
- guitar controller (as guitarist OR bassist) + standard Xbox 360 controller with microphone (vocals)
- drum controller + standard Xbox 360 controller with microphone (vocals)

You do NOT need to play a song, just enter career mode as a band.


1. Select CAREER
2. Select BAND
3. Set up your band with 2 players until you get to the band name/logo screen.


If you passed the band name/logo screen, you can get to it later under:
1. Select OPTIONS
3. Select BAND INFO


Band name/logo screen:
1. Press the BLUE fret button / blue X button (LOGO)
2. Select EDIT
3. Select < New Layer >
4. Change anything about the logo (add a new layer / delete the random layers / re-order the layers)
5. Go back to the screen that had edit/save/load/random/clear options by pressing the RED fret button / red B button (BACK)
6. Select SAVE
7. Select NEW SAVE
8. Give your logo design a name. (to name it "A": press down on the strum bar or d-pad to choose the letter "A" and press yellow fret button / yellow Y button to add the letter)
9. Press the green fret button / green A button (ACCEPT)
