Get a 100 note streak on Through the Fire and Flames on hard (or higher) drums.
A few pointers:
Note streaks in Guitar Hero drums are based on the "chords" of original Guitar Heroes, so basically hitting the pedal and the snare at once is a single note for the streak. This means that other than the extra bass notes, expert is only more tiring for this achievement. I recommend hard because it is easier to follow, and because of the streak system. Also instead of trying to beat the song after getting the 100 notes (because you might lose, happened once to me) get a friend to join you on a Pro-Faceoff match, although your drums screen will be a bit smaller, because the achievement can be done that way.
This song is also very good practice, I got very good at drums after getting this and Amazing Rockstar.

i got it on expert going for unyielding
but is this achieveable in face off it would be a bit easier there since theres breaks in between

Sorry, no, it's just achieveable in Pro-Faceoff, because it's programmed as the full song, Faceoff won't count for that reason, it has breaks.

Used lots of your tracks for stuff, but really struggling with this one. It seems to lose it's time about half way through. Any tips?

This trophy can be quite tricky. Do this on Hard. Practice the main drum riff. You don't have to nail the drum fills. There are multiple spots in the song where you can get it without the fast drum fills. After you get 100-streak you have to complete the song or you won't get the trophy. Make sure you practice the song so you won't fail it.
