How to unlock the Lightning Speed! achievement in Guitar Hero: Smash Hits - Definitive Guide

This achievement is for scoring 5 stars on YYZ on expert bass. Overall this isnt too difficult, but if you are struggling with it, here are some pointers:
- Practice the main part that starts at 50 seconds into the video. This part will repeat itself quite a few times and it is essential to get this part down.
- Watch out for the occasional strum note during hammer on sections. You can easily break your streak if you forget to strum these.
- Use your star power wisely. Follow the star power path that the person uses in the video. However if you are really struggling on the fast parts I would save the star power for the simple parts where you can keep a streak.
- You will need about 175,000 points in order to 5 star the song. Watch the star meter and keep track of your score. If you dont want to look away, you can wait for the parts where the bass pauses for a few seconds.
You should try to set goals for yourself throughout the song. Such as having a certain score by a certain part, so if you dont get that score you can restart there instead of going through the whole song.

These are the scores that you should aim for. These are what I got when I did my 5 star run. You might be worse than me at some parts but better than me at others. These are just sample scores of what you should be getting in order to get the 5 stars. I ended with a score of 191,642.

This is one of the hardest Bass songs in the game. Practice the song in Practice mode and play it in a lower difficulty setting. The hardest parts are the bass fills and the main verse riff.
Practice these sections and use star power well to get the highest score and you should be able to get 5 stars.
To get 5 stars you'll need about 171,000 points.
