Just create a character in the character create menu. Be sure to save it when you go back to the character select menu.

Go to Career and pick any instrument. From the career menu pick Select Rocket and pick Create New. Pick any gender and genre and press Ready to Rock. Then the game saves the rocker and you'll get the trophy.
