Just complete a song as the bassist in Career or Quickly. If you want to do this quickly, choose "Them Bones" or "Raining Blood". If you want an easy song, "I Love Rock & Roll", and "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" are good choices.

Also, why does the achievement have the picture of a guitar headstock?

Play a song in any mode on bass. There ya go
