How to unlock the Brown Sound achievement in Guitar Hero: Van Halen - Definitive Guide

"Brown Sound" - "You rock out as classic Eddie."

I unlocked it when I played a song on the last venue as lead guitar.

NOTE: The actual "Classic Eddie" character is unlocked after 200 stars are obtained in career. However, I got the achievement after I played in the last venue even though I didn't have the specific character unlocked.

I'm pretty sure you just have to complete a song in the final venue. There's another achievement for rocking out as modern Eddie, or whatever you want to call him.

After completing any instrument career on any difficulty, activate your newly unlocked "classic Van Halen" outfit cheat and play ANY Van Halen song in the guitar career on ANY difficulty, including the intro, to pop the achievement. It also works for the other Classic Van Halen achievements.

You do not have to unlock the classic character for this trophy. Once you've unlocked the last gig in guitar career (the early years), all VH characters will become the "classic" versions. Just play one of these songs on guitar.
