I just did this achievement by myself by playing guitar on Eruption on medium in 4 player quickplay.
The rest of the instruments were on Easy but didn't fail as they didn't have enough notes.

Pretty Simple. Just grab some friends and beat an easy song using all 4 instruments. Achievement unlocked.

This can be done locally or online, with any song in the game. Any difficulty can be used, so placing a beginner mic in front of a fan (the "fan trick") will work if you can only get three people.
