This can be acheived quite easily if you have 3 people.
Firstly, place the mic in front of something that makes constant noise and put it on beginner. Then have each person choose a difficulty that they can get a decent combo on and start a game on the song 'Stacy's Mom' since its one of the easiest band songs in the game.
Once you all achieve a 4x multiplier, have each person activate star power at roughly the same time to ensure everyone has an 8x multiplier. I would reccomend waiting for one of the slower parts of the song so that none of you accidently miss a note while doing so.

I tried today with an online band. We had 4x multiplier and we used star power at 97-98% of the song but it didn't unlock. Maybe you need to hit a note or that star power finished before the song, IDK

Same as "Atomic Power Punk", only everyone must have a 4x multiplier when star power is activated. If you're using the fan trick while playing another instrument, keep your Ps3 controller handy as any button will activate SP. Either tap a button with your foot or quickly reach down from whatever instrument you're playing so you don't break your combo. It is not necessary to finish the song - the trophy will pop as soon as everyone is activated with a 4x multiplier.
