How to unlock the Anthemic Archivist achievement in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock - Definitive Guide

For those that don't have any money, or don't want to spend any money for this achievement, there's multiple track packs/singles that can be downloaded for free:

Ferret/Metal Blade Track Pack - 3 songs
Guitar Duel Track Pack - 2 songs
National Anthems Pack - 5 songs
Neversoft Thanks the Fans Pack - 6 songs
Neversoft Track Pack - 2 songs
Reggae Track Pack - 3 songs
"Anything" by An Endless Sporadic

Download all of those, and you should be right at 115 songs. Just update the library after everything is downloaded, go to the menu of songs in Quickplay+, and it should pop. There's probably a couple of other free songs, but I can't remember them.

Already have all these downloaded, downloaded the compatibility patch, and updated library but it still hasn't popped. Any ideas?

As of April 1st, 2014, all Guitar Hero DLC and GHTunes servers have been discontinued. So if you haven't gotten this yet, sorry you're out of luck. Don't believe me? CHeck out Guitar Hero's Facebook post:

@ Hillsong180 if you read the other guides for this achievement you'll see that there's other ways of doing this. . .if you can't buy new (which you can't) or you are unable to add songs from other games (which I've heard that you now can't do either but haven't checked myself) then there's the slooooow but sure way of getting this which is by making new songs yourself until you have the 115 needed \m/ rock on dance

@EverStoned77
Did you even read this solution in particular? All this guide states is to download free dlc that is inaccessible anymore, and doesn't regard any other ways to get said songs for the achievement

Just to clarify, you can get this by creating your own songs through Warriors of Rock?

ehh,finallife6 are you sure you read my comment?!?
I never said anything about this solution,I was trying to help Hillsong180 by telling him that one of the OTHER solutions,I repeat just to make sure you got it,that was one of the OTHER solutions & NOT this solution, that points to other ways & since as you yourself state THIS solution DOESN'T give any other ways of getting the achievement I thought, being of the helpful natur I am,that I'd point out that even though all DLC's & xtra songs have been removed from the store, there is still way of getting this,I am sorry that my attempt to help a fellow gamer some how offended you roll

From Sashamorning Solution:
If you don't want to download anything or buy songs, the "be creative" part is what's important.

Creating your own songs using GH Tunes will let you expand your library without paying for anything. Go into the creator and make enough songs to get you to 115. It may take a bit, but the achievement will pop.
& judging by the number of people that's still popping this I'd say there's some truth to it...

If you own Guitar Hero 5 or Band Hero, you can use the code on the back of the manual for that game to import all of its songs into this Guitar Hero.
If not, you can buy song packs, or create your own in the studio.

/edit
As KamhiX96 mentioned in the comments, you can import Guitar Hero World Tour songs as well.

/edit2
Missed this one: evovitme mentioned you can import Guitar Hero: Metallica as well :)

/edit3
Light447 states you can import from Guitar Hero: Smash Hits as well

If you know you already have more than 115 songs, just enter quickplay+, the achievement will pop, no need to go rooting around in the store.

It's worth noting that you can also import songs from GH World Tour the same way you would import songs from GH5 or Band Hero, by using a code on the back of the manual.

I believe this method no longer works due to not being able to access the store to redeem and import the songs from previous games. it did work in the past though.

Alternatively, just go through and download enough free GH Tunes songs (such as the ones to help you get other achievements) to reach 115.

This achievement may no longer be obtainable if you don't have extra downloadable content (DLC). All DLC for the entire Guitar Hero series (including Band Hero) and DJ Hero series were pulled from the Xbox Live Marketplace after March 31, 2014.

News article from March 2014: Guitar Hero DLC Due to Disappear

Original solution:
THE LAZY LINKS SOLUTION! (see below for Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the web download links)

There are 93 songs on the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock game disc. Using this solution, you'll be able to download an extra 26 songs for free. This will expand your song library to 119 songs (4 songs more than what is required).

BEFORE attempting to PLAY any imported Guitar Hero World Tour disc songs and/or compatible DLC songs, you need to download the Guitar Hero World Tour Compatibility Update. The download option is only available in-game on the newer Guitar Hero games, including Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.

Insert the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock game disc into your Xbox 360 console. If the game doesn't automatically load, choose "Play Game" or "Play Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" from the "Home" tab on the Xbox 360 Dashboard. Wait for a few short load screens, press any button to skip the opening title screen, press cn_A (tap green fret button on guitar / tap green pad on drums) to continue. From the main menu screen, select "Shop" -> "Special Offers" -> "GH™ World Tour Downloadable Content Update" -> "Download" and follow on-screen prompts to confirm download.

Really simple. Just go to GH tunes and just download the required amount of songs you need to get 115 and go to quickplay+ then it should pop.

This game without even considering DLC songs has 110 songs on it (including on disc GH tracks) so you only need 5 songs more.

DLC is no longer available for this game now (as of April 2014) so you have to download GH tracks to get this now.

GH tracks is under "Create" then "GH Tracks"

Once you download enough tracks (make sure you press Yellow to save them after downloading the preview).

Once you go into Quickplay+, the trophy will pop at the song selection screen provided the number of songs counter displayed at the top is 115 or more.

Alternately, if you don't want to download tracks from GH Tracks, you can create your own using GH Mix or GH Jam, also on the "Create" menu.
This can be a good alternative should the GH Track servers ever get pulled or are down for whatever reason.

Not possible to download tracks due to GH Games being shutdown in 2020. Creating your own via GH Jam is the only way to unlock this trophy now.

All you have to do is download free songs from GHMix or other Guitar Hero Games until you have 115 in your song library. You can also import songs from previous Guitar Hero games if you have played them. To earn this trophy, you will have to go to quickplay and choose a song.
