How to unlock the The Meek achievement in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock - Definitive Guide

This can be done with as few as 3 people, each on a different instrument (no duplicate instruments allowed). Make sure everyone is on Medium difficulty or higher, and choose the song "2112 Part 4" from the Quickplay+ menu. Complete the song with any amount of stars, and this achievement is yours.

Found out when going for this that everyone has to be on the same difficulty.

@SID 6581- Really?? Thanks for adding that! I'll have to test it and add it to the solution. Thanks a lot.

I'd like to second that thing about all having to be on the same difficulty: I just did it with some buddies and it did NOT pop (we were Med-Med-Med-Hard, Standard band) ... Yeah add it to the solution - otherwise well done :)

I found that we needed 4 players to make it pop - finished it with three peeps (yes, we were a standard band, all on Medium) and nothing!
However, after reading the comments here, we ensured all four of us were on the same difficulty setiing.

The easiest way to get this achievement is definitely using Z3RO 37's method of having 3 different people on three different instruments, but it is possible to do this by yourself with 2 guitars and a headset.

The way that I did it was by signing my Live account into the controller and having no accounts for the guitar and the bass (all three of which were set to the minimum difficulty of medium).

The main instruments I focused on were the vocals and the bass because the bass had the most notes, and would fail out the fastest if I put it down. I was able to get four star power sections for the bass and two for the vocals before the vocals drop out at the end of the song. Whenever the bass was in the green, I would switch over to guitar and hit as many notes as possible, but let the guitar fail out several times throughout the song in order to keep the bass alive.

The keys to doing this by yourself are getting at least 3 star power sections for the bass before the vocals finish, getting two star power sections for the vocals to make reviving the guitar the second or third time easier, and a fair bit of coordination/luck to be able to switch instruments while still humming along.

I ended up with an 84% for the vocals, a 30% for the guitar, and a 59% for the bass just to give an idea of how I split the guitar/bass. Also for reference, there are 5 star power sections for the vocals and 7 star power sections for the bass, making getting the 2/4 fairly easy.

I know that this is not a surefire way to get the achievement on the first try, but I wanted to pose a solo way to get this achievement just for the sake of having alternative methods listed.

Thanks to Mindslave x360a for an alternative way to do the vocals:

"What I did is this though since I cant sing at all: Set the mic to Headset and then just sat it down in front of speakers while playing a Youtube video of someone getting an FC on vocals. I didn't get 100 percent, but it let me focus on bass/guitar enough to just barely get by"

Edit: Looking for some feedback on the negative vote - I'm welcome to any and all criticisms, so just leave a comment or PM me smile

I'm glad that it worked for you (minus the singing). I'll add your comment into the main solution with credit, if that's okay with you, as I think it would be beneficial to others smile

Thank you! I looked very awkward, but it worked perfectly. I had to make some strange alterations as I only have microphones, and no headset. I had to place the microphone inside my t-shirt, and lean back slightly, so that the microphone would rest on my chest. It made my neck hurt after as while, but it let me sing the song OK.

My bass failed out once, and my guitar twice, as I got in to the song a few times, and being an FC-hunter, I couldn't pull myself away from the instrument. :P

Vocals is the hardest instrument to play on this song so don't bother with it. Beating this song on medium with guitar, bass and drums is not hard.

Got it playing as a three-piece on guitar, bass and drums. The main thing is not below the middling level.

You can also: microphone, guitar, bass. If there are no drums.
