How to unlock the World Peace achievement in Hard Corps: Uprising - Definitive Guide

For most of the part it is the same as going through arcade mode normally, but here are a few pointers and things you should be aware of.

- Lag. Its there, not to a massive degree but make sure you compensate for it in sections like the Vitis Engine.

- If you have around 15-20 (tentative at the moment) hours played you will automatically be given 573 credits to play through. This makes it relatively easy, as long as you can beat the final boss in 3 lives.

- Communication is a MUST for tricky platforming sections such as the elevators in Stage 7.

- For the final boss if you are having trouble with 3 lives there is an extra 1up on top of the third missile opening on top of the rail (it will spawn a golden flying box)

- Most importantly, make sure you are both alive when you land on the helicopter! If you are dead you will NOT get this achievement!

- If you are having trouble with the platforming sections it might be an idea to have one person kill themselves and let the other person do that part solo. - By Craving Mocha

- Guilty115 confirms that this achievement cannot be unlocked via local co-op.

Thats about it, make sure you practice lots and communicate as much as possible. If you have any additional hints or tips you think would be helpful, let me know in the comments section and I will give you credit.

Good Luck! :)

When I got the All Clear achievement, the other player was dead when we ended the game and he didn't get the achievement while I got it, but then we played another level in rising mode and it poped. Is it the same for World Peace ? (if when one player is dead during the final boss and don't get the achievement at the end of the game, if it can come by playing again the 1first level in arcade mode)

I havent heard of that happening before, while it is something to try I would think its more likely a bug or glitch.

@Xonatron Im not actually sure, since I havent personally tested it, but I would imagine it could be done locally.

@Ninjaritus Yes, I got both Strongest Warrior and Innate Guerilla Warfare in co-op.

Just wanted to confirm that you can not get this in local co-op. I played a game by myself with two controllers in Arcade Mode and got:

Innate Guerilla Warfare - [Arcade Mode] Clear all missions without defeating more than 50 Privates.
The definition of a warrior! - [Arcade Mode] Clear all missions without picking up any weapon items.

Now because I was controlling both characters, I was only able to get myself onto the chopper at the end while the second player died with no lives left. I don't think both players being alive will factor into the achievement but I thought I would get this achievement as well but no dice.

Simply complete all 8 missions with a friend online. See the following thread for General Walkthrough Videos: General Walkthrough Videos. Remember that this has to be done in one sitting so make sure you give yourself enough time to finish (a couple of hours at least). Using Sayuri for both players is a powerful combination so purchasing her is well worth it.

Can you beat Arcade Mode? Well, can you beat Arcade Mode with lag and a guy who thinks it's funny to shoot the crocs out from under your feet? Well, if you can finish the game Online, this achievement's as good as yours.

Here are three tips for co-op play, online or off:

A dead player with no lives can press A at any time (except after screwing up a helicopter jump if the other player has already made it) to take one of the remaining player's lives and rejoin the fight! (Thanks braindead200[1]!)

This achievement will stack with any other "Clear all missions" achievement (thank EpicPandemic for confirming,) and there are *no* conflicts between players' statistics (your buddy's collected weapons, deaths and Private kills do not count as yours.) This makes co-op a great way of getting some of the more difficult achievements...Just make your friend do all the work!
Bonus: Jebus Fist's got a boosting tip for those of you with an extra controller.
I really shouldn't need to say this by now, but this method will work for any "Clear all missions" achievement and can be done in online co-op as well, just with your friend taking the controller's place. Obviously, playing offline with a second controller will not get you "World Peace."

Important: Note that in co-op, to get any "Clear all missions" achievements, you have to *survive* the final boss, which also requires you to make one last leap onto the helicopter's legs. As long as your character's hanging off it with at least x0 lives, you've made it, so try and beat the boss with x1 remaining. Thanks for this one, ManBurning!
