Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland

This is tied to Katie's ending path. Focus on her while dipping some gifts in to other people from time to time.

- Befriend Katie. She loves eggs and milk, but you'll get the most affection if you give her cheese.
- One day, upon entering the cafe starting noon (I'd suggest by day two or three if you have given her cheese), you'll start the first event where she asks for a recipe your grandmother once used.
- You'll find the recipe within the chest of drawers near your bed. Pick it up when you can and return to her. If she doesn't take it in a cutscene the same day, try the next day.
- From here, make your trips to Katie's Cafe, then start visiting Dia or Gina at Clove Villa. Befriend either or, as one of them should be able to help you out later in finding the Moon Drop Dew ingredient.
- Go ahead and give Katie the Golden Egg and Golden Milk if you have them, or just keep in mind that she does need them. This will also allow you to get more affection by giving her duplicates of them.
- Make a few more trips over the course of a few more days, starting around noon, to give Katie more cheese as well as to hopefully trigger some cutscenes. She will be trying to make the cake without the prime ingredients listed, but most results won't be enjoyable for you. Once you finally get a cutscene with a pretty good looking cake, as well as Gwen watching from the outside, you'll be done with Katie and need to focus on Clove Villa's target.
- Either Dia (or Gina, unconfirmed) will finally give you a cutscene now, if you've given them enough to increase their friendship enough, to give you the book relating to the Moon Drop Dew. Return this key item to Katie to discover you need to make it under the light of a full moon (which only happens on the 14th, 15th, 28th, and 29th of the month/season).
- Go to the Harvest Goddess Lake on one of the full moon nights around 9 pm in order to make the dew. The character that performs the rite with you will, or should, return the dew vessel to Katie's cafe.
- From this point, keep visiting the Cafe until you get one final cake scene, where she finally perfects the recipe with the right ingredients and then seals the Cafe up. She'll be around town, but she won't be performing any more cutscenes for this ending until a week has passed.
- She'll finally return from the city having great news about her cake. Because of the success at the contest, the homeland will be saved and everyone wants a piece of her dessert.

I befriended Dia by giving her blueberries, Katie some cheese, and I managed to get all of this before Spring ended.
