How to unlock the Master of the Mansion achievement in Hasbro Family Game Night 3 - Definitive Guide

In the Remix version of CLUE you have an additional ''event'' dice you have to roll before you can roll the normal dices. One of the pictures on it is a key that allows you to seal off one of the rooms in the mansion. All you have to do is make sure one of your fellow players is in that room.

This achievement can get quite tricky when playing with AI players, because they simply won't go in the rooms. Best thing to do is to play with two controllers. The other player just needs to get in a corner room so he can switch between rooms without having to leave them. Wait to get the key icon for your achievement-controller and BAM, lock him/her in.

Good luck!

The only thing that still makes this achievement tricky without the AI players is that damn Pool Party on the event die which resets the positions of ?'s and sends all players back to their starting positions.

I know it's easy to get back into the corner rooms anyway from the starting positions but there came a point in the game (after 3 rooms were sealed off) that the pool party was coming up every second dice roll and when they weren't, it was the Lights out (after all the suspects were murdered so it had to hit one of us instead) hitting us with missed turns. The Key and the Magnifying Glass were rarely thrown, and when the key did show, it was after a pool party *facepalm*

It's still possible despite all that, but it's just very annoying

Yep same for me. The game spams the annoying reset

Having the same issue myself. Non stop pool party and lights out. Ugh!

Easiest done in a 4-player game. Start the game and try to keep at least one player in some room at all times (keep a note of what room people are in). Keep playing until you roll a "key" on the Event Dice, giving you the ability to lock a room for 2 rounds. Pick a room that another player is inside of and the trophy will pop right after that!
