In order to earn this trophy, you must have purchased the DLC Future Sound song pack.
To obtain this trophy, you need to go into the Customization menu by pressing triangle from the Rhythm Game tracklist on a song with the Future Sound label which is located near the Completion percentage. You need to set the 'Recommended' Module for that song and equip at least one accessory to count towards the total you need. You can quickly get to the recommended module by pressing the L2+R2 buttons together, it will go to the module you need to wear. You may need to buy the recommended module and accessory with VP (Vocaloid Points) before you can set it, VP are earned by playing and clearing or even failing songs on any difficulty, although using Practice Mode or watching PVs (Performance Videos) will not earn you VP.
The quickest way to earn this trophy is to use the Hatsune Miku Original module since that is unlocked from the start, and equip that and an accessory on any Future Sound song that uses that as the recommended module, although you may still need to buy a few modules with your VP points. Do this for 39 unique Future Sound songs, and the trophy should pop. You do not need to even play the songs themselves to count towards the total.
The only catch is you must use the Song Specific settings for the modules, do NOT use the Global Settings A, B, or C (which you can get to by pressing the R3 analog stick in) or it will not count towards the total.
