Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone (UP)

In order to earn this trophy, you must have purchased the DLC Future Sound song pack.

This trophy can be earned naturally through regular play. You must clear enough songs with the Future Sound label located near the Completion % on the songlist to earn VP (Vocaloid Points) and raise your Future Sound rank. You can play the songs on any difficulty, the only caveat is you must clear the songs with No Fail Mode set to OFF - in other words, you must beat the songs legitimately in order to raise your Future Sound rank. You can still earn VP if you use No Fail Mode set to ON, but your score will not be counted and your Future Sound rank will not increase. You may not use Practice Mode either, your rank will not increase in Practice Mode.

It's easiest to earn this trophy playing on Easy difficulty, since the requirements for clearing a song on Easy is 30% or better accuracy on the progress gauge located on the bottom of the screen while playing the song. The red line on that gauge represents the percentage total you need in order to clear the song. Simply get enough progress on the song to push your total past the red line, and you will clear the song. Your grade on the song will determine how much your rank will increase. Standard clear raises the rank the least, but Great, Excellent, and Perfect (full combo) will increase your ranking points more, in that order. Do this on several more Future Sound songs, and the trophy should pop once your Future Sound rank reaches Level 5.

It's worth noting that you can play on harder difficulties, but the accuracy requirements become stricter as you go up in difficulty. Normal requires 50%+ to clear, Hard requires 60%+ to clear, and Extreme and EX Extreme requires 70% or better to pass. Regardless, it should only take clearing quite a few songs in order to reach level 5.
