Note that this trophy is not cumulative. You must kill 5000 monsters in a single playthrough of the game. This will likely require you to reach around dungeon level 40, and consequently will likely be the last trophy you earn in the game. Because progress is not cumulative, it is recommended to try to earn this in your first run of the game.

Unfortunately, due to the random nature of the dungeons, you can be dropped in an unfavorable location thus quickly ending a long run. I therefore strongly recommend abusing the Playstation Plus Cloud Save backup. Once you reach the mid 20's, start backing up your save every 1-2 levels. If you do die then you can restore your save from the Cloud and avoid unnecessary replays.
