This fight is basically the same as the regular Broken Vessel one, but he attacks faster.
Just use the same tactics and charms, you should be fine.
Remember the corners are still great for healing, and Quick Focus helps a lot.
Defeating him will award you with 400 Essence, and this achievement when done for the first time.
Finally - as with all bosses - memorizing the attack pattern (or at least knowing the various attacks and their telegraphs) helps greatly since it lets you plan ahead.
Note: Due to how easy this fight is compared to the other Dream Bosses and the increased reward, you can do this one first to get 400 Essence.
Doing this plus all the Warrior Dreams (and maybe a few Whispering Roots) should give you enough to get the Awakened Dream Nail (required for some hidden endings and lore)
