For this achievement you simply must find a piece of intel. It doesn't have to be the first one in the game, but I will explain where the first, second, and third ones are. The reason is because they're literally seconds apart from one another so why not.
In the first level, immediately outside of the White Castle around the left side of the buildings exterior, right after you exit the bus. (Thank you Fall of Zebes for the correction). THIS IS THE VERY FIRST INTEL. Simply hit X and pick up the newspaper. The newspapers give insight to the story of the game, it is up to you if you care to read it. Either way, the achievement will unlock as soon as you pick it up.
These next are the next 2 intels in the level. I decided to keep them in the guide simply because they're pretty close to this one.
In the first level, you will come to a point where you must endure waves of Korean soldiers at a gas station. After you defeat the waves of enemies, the gas station will explode.
Right after this you will follow your squad for a bit. Eventually you come up a little hill and you'll see a ramp that you can jump off of that goes to a lower section of the map. Do not jump off of this yet. The newspaper is laying right in front of you on the way to the ramp, but it's towards the left a bit. Just search for it before the ramp. Once you jump off you will not be able to get back up without reloading so make sure you grab it.
As for the second one, it takes place right after you hop off of the ledge. In front of you, you should see a wrecked home and the only way forward is to go prone and crawl under the wreckage.
Before doing this, look to the right of the boards you have to crawl under in a patch of grass and you will see a shining newspaper.
These are the first three collectibles. You can grab any three of these for this achievement or any other intels, but I decided to keep the first three here just in the event you missed one.

I believe the first collectible is actually immediately outside the White Castle, before you enter, as soon as you exit the bus. It is on the left side of the building.

The first collectible you can pick up is found as soon as you exit the bus. Before you enter the White Castle, go the left side of the building, and you will see it glowing on the ground. The complete guide can be found at:
