How to unlock the Safer Skies achievement in Homefront - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to eliminate all the SAM sites on the way to the harbor (where the bridge begins at the end of the level). I recommend using the infrared sights the entire mission, this will highlight all the targets for you.

This achievement can be collected on Easy and does not present much of a challenge. Happy hunting.

There are seven SAM trucks in the level; they do not appear until after hijacking the tankers. Destroy them and the achievement is yours. To make this easier press the stick down to go into thermal vision.

There are three trucks on the first road after hijacking the tankers, one is in the city on the roof that Connor tells you to take out, and the final three are in the harbor at the end of the mission; two on the left and one on the right. This can be done on easy.

When you reach the bridge on a helicopter, 3 anti-aircraft guns will be waiting for you there, destroy them and get a trophy

There are not 3 anti-aircraft installations, as written in the previous hint, but 7. During the flight, activate the thermal mode P3 (all enemies and guns will be highlighted in red) so you can easily find and destroy all the anti-aircraft installations. All of them will be located on the route of your convoy, so it’s difficult to miss.
