for this achievement all you need is you and 3 other people to join a game in a party so invite them to your in game party (this is before you join a game the list of people there *xbl party does not matter) then hit search now you should get this achievement right at entering the game also if all 4 of you need this achievement you will need to repeat this 4 times and theres one for winning

edit* you can go for the full boat hosting it this way and get this at the same time the one thing is with that achievement all 16 dont connect and can still be obtained so i guess that its the same way with this
