THE WOMB OF THE MOUNTAIN

Aloy seeks to understand why the killers at the Proving targeted her - and discovers that her origins are more mysterious than she ever imagined.

Objective Log:

1. Search for your Focus: Your Focus is gone, search the place until a scene triggers.
2. Search for your Equipment: Keep searching for the rest of your equipment as well as the Damaged Focus you recovered from the enemy leader at the Proving. It may hold some more clues, so examine the Damaged Focus.
3. Follow Teersa: Follow Teersa and talk to her.
4. Follow Teersa out of the Mountain: Until a cutscene triggers. Afterwards, complete the conversation however you wish.
5. Talk to Resh, the new War Chief: He's the only one who can give the order for the gate to be opened.
6. Kill the "Demon" and Corrupted Machines: This is a boss fight where you need to kill all the Corrupted Machines and the "Demon".
7. Examine the "Demon" carcass: After killing the "Demon" examine its carcass to learn how it corrupted other machines.

A SEEKER AT GATES

To unravel the conspiracy against her, Aloy must leave the Sacred Land of the Nora tribe - but an infestation of corrupted machines stands in her way.

Objective Log:

1. Test the Override Device on a Machine: Override a Strider for the first time. Overriding a Strider to will allow you to use it as a mount. You do this by approaching them undetected and holding when prompted. When you have Strider, mount the Strider by interacting with it.
2. Talk to Varl: Return to the Gates of the Embrace.
3. Talk to Marsa at Mother's Crown: You'll get another Main Quest called "The War-Chief's Trail", it's best to do that Main Quest first. When completed, return back to this step. When you're ready to complete this quest, make your way to Mother's Crown and talk to Marsa.
4. Clear the Corrupted Zones: This is a long objective where you need to clear 2 corrupted zones. Go to these zones and kill all Corrupted Machines in each to convince the Carja that it is safe to re-open the gate.
5. Go to the Carja Border Fort: Head to the western end of the valley.
6. Kill the Corrupted Machines: When you arrive, help them out by killing all the Corrupted Machines in the area.
7. Talk to the Commander of the Carja Border Fort: After killing the Corrupted Machines, talk to the Commander.
8. Exit the Carja Fort: When the gates are opened enter and the Commander will thank you, this will also unlock the trophy.

THE WAR-CHIEFS TRAIL

Sona, the War-Chief of the Nora, went missing after an ambush killed dozens of braves. Varl wants Aloy to find her.

Rewards:

• +1750 XP

Objective Log:

1. Go to the Massacre Site: This is a long trip, so override a Strider and ride to the place where the Nora War Party was ambushed.
2. Investigate the Battlefield: Search the area and for a lead on Sona's whereabouts.
3. Talk to the Survivor: Simply talk to the man that appears.
4. Go to Sona's Last Known Location: Make your way to the location that's marked on the waypoint. You will have to climb up a large mountain when you reach the location.
5. Investigate the Area: Search for a lead on Sona's whereabouts. Use your Focus to search for a track to follow.
6. Follow the Tracks: Follow the tracks and see if they lead to Sona.
7. Examine the Sawtooth: At the end of the tracks, you'll need to examine the Sawtooth that you find. Simply approaching it will trigger a cutscene.
8. Follow Sona: Simply Follow Sona (you can loot that Sawtooth before following her).
9. Kill the Cultists and Corrupted Machines: Kill the Cultists and Corrupted Machines to take out the enemy camp. You also have the optional choice to destroy the Blaze Containers (shoot Fire Arrows at the green barrels).
10. Talk to Sona: After the battle, talk to Sona.
11. Investigate the Dig Site: Search the Dig Site for more information about the location of other Cultists. Use your Focus to find a trail. Follow this trail to the Trail of Blaze. You'll find a device so scan it with your Focus to listen to the Datapoint.
12. Talk to Sona and Varl: Talk to Sona to inform her of your findings. This Main Quest is now completed, return back to the previous Main Quest ("A Seeker At Gates") of Talking to Marsa at Mother's Crown.
