How to unlock the Killed 6 Fireclaws achievement in Horizon Zero Dawn - Definitive Guide

At the end of "The Forge of Winter" you will fight one of these and then once you are done the quest "Out of the Forge" instructs you to go kill some more. You won't be able to get this one before the story is completed.

I can’t seem to get the last 2 fireclaws

When I did this, the game didn't count one of the fireclaw kills.
Check your statistics if it doesn't pop, and there is a fireclaw site up to the north east if you need to pick up any extra kills.

Fireclaws are similar to the Frostclaws (see Killed 10 Frostclaws) but deal fire damage instead. If you focus on doing all the story missions and side quests and errands (see All Quests completed), you will get this trophy naturally.

Tip: If you somehow still need Fireclaw kills, they also appear in the wild after doing the story/side-quest. You will find one in an area to the north-east, the same area where you fight the Rockbreaker (for the side quest "The Claws Beneath"). If the Fireclaw does not spawn, try completing the Hunting Ground first.

Combat tip: Use Hardpoint arrows and start by shooting the red belly until it explodes, then finish the Fireclaw off by aiming at the red shoulders.
