How to unlock the Khufu achievement in HUMANKIND - Definitive Guide
All of the "star" achievements can be obtained in the same way, and with careful planning on lower difficulties, even in the same game!
Press to access your empire screen. (If you're at the threshold to level up to the next era, you'll have to press from there to get back to the empire screen. Do NOT press from there or you'll progress to the next era and miss out on the achievements!).
In the centre of the window you'll see seven badges you can work towards in the current era. One will be at the top, which matches your chosen culture's way of life, and the rest will be underneath in two rows of three. Above each badge are three stars, and below each badge is your progress towards the next star on that badge.
Until you are familiar with each badge icon, you can press to enter tooltip mode, and then use to highlight each badge in turn, which will tell you exactly which badge it is and what you need to do to get to the next star. Don't forget to turn tooltip mode off with the same button, or simply move to regain control.
What the different stars require varies by many factors, including game length, current era and lots more. However, as a general guide, each require the following:
Aesthete - Generate a total amount of influence
Agrarian - Reach a combined total of population and/or units
Builder - Have a certain number of districts built
Expansionist - Have a certain number of territories attached to cities (i.e. solid borders, not just outposts with the dotted borders)
Merchant - Generate a total amount of money
Militarist - Defeat a certain amount of military units
Scientist - Unlock a number of technologies from the tech tree

Points to remember
- There are 6 eras
- There are three stars per badge, per era
- This means you have to get EVERY SINGLE STAR for the badge(s) you are working towards BEFORE entering the next era
- If you enter the next era too early, you won't hit the 18 stars required for the achievement.
