To free Yorda, you must first lower the cage down by pressing the lever at the very top, and then jump onto the cage at the bottom, climbing up the stairs to the ledge

In order to get from the location where the game begins to the location with Yorda, you need to activate the switch by climbing up the wide staircase. The door to the room will open from where, swinging on the chain (button o), through the opening we get to the desired location
