This is story related, but is still a tough fight if you don’t know what to do
So the boss here will spam a beam of light, you can take four beams of light before you die, and this is probably where people are failing.
You can’t use iddhi in the battle, you will have five bars which you need to fill for a cutscene. Do this three times to finish the boss battle
As for what to do in the battle. Literally keep spamming
, whoever is the character for this will for some reason not need to stop and charge. Whilst spamming hit the boss with the other characters as well to build the iddhi bar faster to get to the cutscene quicker. This takes a while and you may get hit once or twice, but you can take four hits so you’ll be fine
I managed to keep spamming and got so bored that I did it with one hand whilst browsing the internet on my phone

Came here hoping for tips to beat this fight. "Cannot be missed" isn't all that helpful.

At the end of Chapter 11: Back to Ashwat, you'll have to defeat the boss Maha Heruka. It's a unique fight and may take you a couple tries. You'll need to keep hitting the closest head to build your Iddhi, after which you'll have to attack another, and so on until you're done. During the fight, however, be aware that Kala will throw Area of Effect attacks that will greatly hurt your party if not blocked. The best way to avoid that is to never give her the time to attack you. Time your attacks and, ideally, you should never give her more than a couple seconds at most at a time as you regenerate attacks. At the successful conclusion to the battle, you'll get the trophy.
