How to unlock the True Hero achievement in InFamous - Definitive Guide

For this trophy you need to buy the good versions of lightning bolt, shock wave, shock grenade and megawatt hammer. You also have to do all 15 evil side missions.

Now EmpathicMIMIC's guide is perfect and great to follow but I have a great tip, all the story missions, side missions and collectibles will give just enuff to max the skills but if you're just doing a quick good/bad run for trophies and dont want to do EVERYTHING again I'd suggest grinding EXP!

On CH.35 vengeance (the mission you get lightning storm) when you have to stand on the generators til they charge fully, on the third generator keep using lightning storm til the generator hits 75% then run forward up the alley til you fail. You restart back on the generator and keep the EXP (700ish a go), it only takes 50 seconds or less. It's the best way to grind IMO!

Any complaints/comments welcom!

Don't you mean all 15 good missions? Other than that, great guide!

In order to purchase every positive Karma upgrade for each power, you need:

1.) To have this trophy
inFAMOUSGoody Two ShoesThe Goody Two Shoes trophy in inFAMOUS worth 37 pointsReach full positive Karma.

2.) Quite a bit of XP (which you can get from missions, side missions, blast shards, random enemies, etc etc)

3.) To complete all 15 "Good" Side Missions

Upgrades that are neutral (gray in color) do not count towards this trophy, only the upgrades that are in blue.

Max out all of your Positive Karma powers. This should be done on your good karma run of the game. You will have plenty of xp to spend so this should not be an issue, but if it is just do stunts to unlock quick xp. The only powers with karma related upgrades are the lightning, shockwaves, grenades, and megawatt hammer. If you have beaten the game and you still don't have enough karma you should do side missions and collect shards. Also, do this on easy since you get the most xp there. If you have done all of this enemies will be scarce and shards will not be available so you should start a new game and try again.

If you are playing on a high difficulty level, try to buy upgrades only for abilities that require reputation (marked in blue or red), because at the end of the game, when there are no more tasks, you may find yourself in a situation where you need many more thousands of points to purchase abilities. and there is practically no place to get these points. You can gain the most points on the third island by fighting the First Sons (try to kill them with a sticky bomb), you will also receive 3 experience points for each found sphere fragment and 2 points for treating citizens. Plus, while you are looking for fragments, you can do the “Unquenchable Thirst” trick, jumping on the rails and getting 7 points per trick.

The game has a mission in which the hero is immortal. In the Old Town, when completing the task in the last sewer, they give the ability "Thunderstorm". So, as soon as the hero gets out of the dungeon, first one and then two more trucks with machine guns arrive, which must be destroyed using the newly acquired skill, and the hero receives an endless supply of energy and immortality. But! Under no circumstances should you destroy the last of the arriving trucks, otherwise this halva will end.

As a result, having received these goodies, you can freely hang out around the block (or throughout the city) shooting enemies and gaining experience points.

Comrade gamers, one piece of advice regarding the acquisition of skills for positive and negative reputation, they are basically similar, there is a wonderful place for farming experience points, in the Old Town, during a mission when you need to turn on 3 generators, when connecting the third one you can normally raise the exp by 500 per run, kill your adversaries, and on the 3rd wave, die quickly and without much effort.

When playing on hard, I advise you to die (if you don’t have enough points) at the end of the storyline (when they will give 30, 50 points for killing the first son). This way you compensate for the points.

When playing on easy difficulty, each resident cured by galvanization is given 3 experience points, and you can also meet a group of Scavengers on the lower bridge from Warren to the Old Town. Just throw sticky bombs at them.

The most recent levels of abilities cost a decent amount of experience points. More than 10 tons. At a high level of difficulty, they give less experience, and killing enemies is problematic. You can clear areas without fear for further pumping. There is a great place to farm experience points: when you accompany the bus with Trish on the second island, there will be crowds of enemies. When the mission turns to the bridge, destroy all living things, before reaching the end of the bridge, self-destruct using a rocket at your feet. Repeat to get 10k experience. In one minute run, from 100 to 200 experience points.

If you play as Good, then in Warren in the Southeast there is a Hero Mission where you need to break the air conditioner and kill 25 scavengers. Sticky bomb and other extras. tricks to help you. Be sure to keep an eye on the Scavenger counter, if suddenly time slows down on the screen, then the mission will already be completed, quickly press pause and Cancel the Mission.

I have advice on gaining XP for those who are wondering about getting trophies before beating the game, and not after, and for those who, during their first playthrough, realized that they won’t just gain the required amount of experience.

So, in the Old Town in the park there is a mission called "Paranoia". You talk to a girl standing in a gazebo, after which “semi-invisible” guides (mobs) appear behind her. Behind her are only 2 of 3 conductors. Clamp we aim at the one to the right and quickly shoot at him , at this time moving back. Your back will come across the third of this gang. Without stopping shooting at the first target, go around him. At the same time, he will stand exactly in your line of fire (lightning). Strike further, so they will die one after another. Please note that you only need to kill 2 guides! Don't touch the third one. After you kill two, press start -> cancel mission. You will find yourself right next to the girl from whom you took this mission. Each guide gives 75 XP, and they are very weak, despite the selected high difficulty level of the game. Once you get the hang of it in 5-10 minutes, you can kill them in 15 seconds and get 150xp for them each time.

If you don’t have enough experience to purchase some abilities, then in the 3rd city there is the task “Paranoia” (see the location of the task below). Switch to a low difficulty level (since they give more experience). Save in a separate slot and take the task. While the woman tells you the essence of the task, you move away from this place and get ready to throw a grenade at the woman’s feet. As soon as she finishes speaking, invisible people will stand on her sides and when the grenade explodes, it will kill both of them, and the third will remain alive. You don’t need to kill him, just cancel the task, you will appear next to the task and you will get 150 experience. Repeat this task until you accumulate the required amount of experience. In my opinion, this is the fastest way because it takes 15-20 seconds.
