You get this trophy for fully upgrading one of your powers. This can easily be obtained on the first island while completing missions. The damage reduction tree is particularly cheap and I maxed it out after the train rescue mission.

There are three upgrades available for most powers so just buy them all for a single power. This is easily done early in the game, just purchase all three upgrades in either melee or damage resistance. Melee is cheaper but resistance is more useful I'll let you choose which.
