How to unlock the Last Over 5 Minutes achievement in Inferno Pool - Definitive Guide

When you're playing Endurance Mode, balls will keep being added to the table until the limit of 24 balls is reached. You're goal is to clear them off faster than they're appearing. My biggest tip for this is to never miss a shot. Always flick the Right Stick forward without pulling it back first. That way the cue ball stops quicker.

If you don't miss a shot, your meter in the bottom right hand side will fill up with fire, letting you enter a mode called 'Inferno Mode'. This turns the screen dark, and if you make a shot, it will clear off two balls, not just one. So try and make as many as you can quickly, because that mode doesn't last long. Try and get two 'Inferno Modes' in a game, possibly 3 if you can.

The best method I found was switching from first person to top view almost every shot. As soon as you shoot and make a ball, while in first person view you can set up your camera for your next shot while the cue ball is still moving. If its a long shot, switch right back out to top view and it'll almost be lined up for you. The other big tip is to use your Left Trigger to line up your shots easier without over doing it.

Hint: If your really good at making trick shots, then by all means do that to fill up your Inferno meter. The more Inferno modes you enter, the better chance you have at this.

First of all to get into the game go to Single Player, then to Inferno Pool, then Continue (you don't need anything on that screen) and make sure you Aiming Level is on Novice and your ready to start.

The object of the game Inferno Pool is to last as long as possible. You will start with 9 balls on the table and as time goes on they add more and more balls on to the table. Once there is 24 balls on the table the game is over. You will notice the counter at the bottom right of the screen. It says X/24. The X being the amount of balls you currently have on the table and the 24 being the end of the game. Around the counter there is a meter. This meter is your Inferno meter. To get this meter up you have to make great shots like jump shots, bank shots and multi ball shots. Also you can just pocket balls in a row to get this meter up. When in Inferno mode and you make a ball it takes away another one. So this is a big help later on.

As the game progresses balls get onto the table faster. You will see a red bar right above the timer on the top of the screen. When that bar is done another ball goes onto the table.

You need to be fast and accurate to get this trophy. You want to be accurate enough that you make a ball almost every shot you make and you want to be fast enough so that your taking shot after shot with a little break in between. There is a fine line between going too fast and taking your time. You need a balance of both. Make sure the green line is lined up with the pocket because the green line indicates where the ball you hit is going to go. If you scratch early on you should just quit and retry. Scratching the cue ball will result in you losing all your points in the Inferno meter and if you made a ball and scratched on the same shot the ball you made will not count.

Keep trying at it and you will get it. I can almost guarantee you will not get this on your first try.
