How to unlock the The Last One achievement in Inside - Definitive Guide

This achievement can only be earned after collecting all 13 secrets, and can then be located on Checkpoint 58

It can also be found in this video, with a text description of its location below
[15:30] - Once you have all 13 secrets unlocked, you'll reach this checkpoint with a ladder in front of you and can climb the ladder to the top. Inside the room, go to the right and go inside the large sphere. Once inside, move the object inside to the left to deactivate the lights. Now walk outside the sphere to unlock the final achievement in the game. Congrats on your 1,000 Gamerscore!

Thanks for the guide!

Out of curiosity... when you enter the big sphere for the last achievement, you can see a map with 13 lights (the artifacts related to achievements), and all of them turn off except for the second one (the one in the bunker under the cornfield). If you come back there, there is a lever that previously had no power, but now does, located by a door. Anyways, it has three directions, and looks like you have to enter a code or something. Does anybody know how to open it?

In case you haven't figured it out, there a secret ending and you have to go back into the bunker where the second light switch was. That's why the second light is still on

Man I’ve done all 14 orbs twice now. This achievement just won’t pop. I’m not doing it a third time! I’m out.

Finally got it. Tried one last thing and it worked. Uninstalled the game, booted it using XCloud, went into the final giant orb (it was open and lights were already out) used B to grab the thing inside, felt a rumble on the controller and it popped!!
Just in case this helps anyone.

This didn't work for me the first time, I've tried the Cloud trick but now there is nothing to grab onto. Am I going to have to redo the whole game?

Not unlocking for me at all, tried resetting console, deleting and reinstalling, going to game hub, playing on cloud.

I have all other achievements and did the secret room and I have completed the game and this achievement just won’t unlock. Really frustrating!

Thanks for the Xcloud method I did it and it popped no problem. I was not ready to run through the game and find those orbs again. Appreciate it.

As of May 07 2023 I deleted then reinstall the game, reloaded scene where scientist run besides you to the other scientists, then redo everything from there on. Once reached last one, grabbed and pulled, then at ramp I jumped and achievement popped.

The 1 in the city after sliding down a pipe and ladder didn't pop for me until getting the other 12 after getting it I went back to this and did what was needed and no achievement popped I can't even reload the spot because it won't let me grab the thing inside anymore I really don't want to play another playthrough of this to just get 1 achievement

Achievement didn’t unlock for me after pulling the cord or doing the one in the earlier chapter. Tried deleting the game (not save) and via xcloud but didn’t work either, the sphere was always closed. Finally I went trough all the collectibles once again via chapter select (the lights started to turn on in front of the sphere) then went to the final one, door had opened now, pull the last plug and got my final achievement.

After the initial failed, tried the xCloud trick, loaded up from the chapter right before the orb, everything was dark and couldn't grab anything. Loaded up the chapter right before that (the scientists looking through the glass) and it popped. Maybe it was really, really delayed? Maybe going to that checkpoint was what did it? Who knows.

NB: After you've got all achievements/13 secret orbs you can then load Ch.7/Field Research and push Right, Left, Left, Left, Up, Up, Right, Left, Right, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up on the lever inside the under-field bunker - which gives an alternate (early) ending, which is just as disappointing as the normal ending shockcry.

I missed the one at chapter 30, so when I got to the orb to enter it, it was dark and the door closed. I went back, got the last collectible at 30, then went to finish this and it let me into the lit up ship/orb, let me pull something free, aaaaand no achievement.

I tried to go back from the start and re do the lit up collectibles but they are all dark at their respective chapters now. I Uninstalled and redownloaded this game and STILL no final cheevo.

Anyone have ANY thoughts?

See the video for the location for the last achievement.

Remember you can only get this achievement when you got all other orbs deactivated.
When inside the big orb walk al the way to the right press and hold cn_X and then move to left.

SPOLER!!!


At the end you can see that there is a secret door if you go back to the field collectible, when you go down there is a door to the right. it will trigger an alternativ ending and the code to open the door is the song when you find the collecible: "room for reflection"

Its also "up up up right left left left up up right left right right right"  for the lazy

I didn't vote but I can think of one good reason, none of the solutions presented for the final secret give info on if all orbs need to be collected in one playthrough or if you can collect one then immediately load another checkpoint.

This achievement is found in Chapter 57 but, you need to find all of the other achievement orbs to unlock it. Here's a video with the locations of all achievement orbs including this last one.

This is the final collectible in the game. You will see how to get it at 15:30 in the video below.

You've gotten all the achievements, but haven't beaten the game yet; you're almost there, so I'd highly suggest playing the last couple minutes of the game!

    I played through the entire game and didn't get a single trophy. Uninstalled and installed again. Second playthrough everything fell out.

    The trophy fell out after receiving all the other trophies, in the place where the yellow wire leads.))) I assume that a prerequisite for receiving this trophy is the presence of all the others from the list.
