How to unlock the 10 Wicket Defeat achievement in International Cricket 2010 - Definitive Guide

For those of you who don't know the difference between a ten wicket win, and an innings win here it is:

A ten wicket win is where you bat last in a test match, and get the required total without losing a wicker.

An innings win is where you bat only once, and your total is higher than the two oppositions innings combined. Thus you dont have to bat again.

For a ten wicket win, it is easiest if you bowl first, as then you will naturally bat last.

It is possible if you bat first, but it would involve having to make a total around 250, scuttling the computer out for less than a hundred so you can enforce the following on, and then let the computer pass your total, so you have to bat again. This is still easy but more annoying as it means stopping yourself getting wickets.

Simulating at all during the match makes this achievement unattainable.

Start a test match or test series against Bermuda, and be one of the better teams yourself like England, Australia, India etc. You need the computer to bat first bowl them out for as small as possible, then match their score in your first innings, declare, bowl the computer out for low amount, then when it's your turn to bat you will need to reach the target losing no wickets. Remember you can save after each ball or over if you are worried that you might lose a wicket.

To do this, you must ensure that you're batting last in a test match and that you don't have a batsman out before you reach your required total.

Example: Computer bats first scoring 80 all out. You follow, I recommend getting around 80 to 100. Computer bats third, you must ensure they surpass your score in total (they score 40, for a new total of 120), leaving you around 20-40 to get without losing a wicket.
