How to unlock the If You Want Something Done Right achievement in International Cricket 2010 - Definitive Guide

I'd just like to add two things:

First, best to do this in a test match so your bowler doesn't run out of overs.

Second, you should abuse the save game function in the game, and use it regularly.

I'd save at the start of every over of the bowler going for the ten wickets, and whenever you take a wicket with him - its easier than you might think taking a wicket with the other bowler even if you make sure you dont bowl at the stumps and drop all catches.

pick england against someone with one star like bermuda.
choose a quick bowler like broad and build your confidence.
get a three wickets in a row and you will get the hat-trick achievement aswell. try not to run any of the batters out because that will void the achievement. this can be done in any game mode.
save the game before deliverys if going for the hat-trick achievement aswell.

It is best to choose a Test Match rather than a One Day format as you will have less restrictions with over limits etc.

I chose England to play Bermuda and put them into bat. Choose Graeme Swann as he has an excellent spinning delivery. Continously vary delivery types so the batsman does not get use to the delivery. Eventually, after about 20 overs, you will get the 10 wickets, and after the 10th wicket, you will see the achievement.

It is strongly suggested that you do not sim any overs that are not your main bowler as this may alter the achievement. Also, if there is a catch chance for another bowler, just drop it.

Start a test match or test series against Bermuda, and be one of the better teams yourself like England, Australia, India etc. Bowl normally until you take a wicket with someone, then save the game, from now on make sure you do not get any run outs or wickets with any of the other bowlers. If you save after every wicket, if you accidental take a wicket with someone else you can reload the saved game from the main menu.

Concentrate on one bowler only and ensure only he takes all the wickets (test matches are best as there are no bowling restrictions). When you use your other bowler make them miss the stumps and miss any catches that come your way. Save at the start of each over just in case they run themselves out.
