How to unlock the The Triple Ton achievement in International Cricket 2010 - Definitive Guide

This is easiest to do in a test match and requires you to score 300 runs with one batsman; the quickest way of reaching 300 is to play lofted shots with B button . Use the LS to have a look around first to see where fielders are, or you can use the radar in the bottom right hand corner. Once you have worked out where the fielders are placed then try to avoid hitting to these areas.

Note: You are able to save the game after every shot or over and then if your batsman does get out you can just reload the save and continue.

Kevin Pietersen, bats at number 4 for england,
Ricky Ponting bats at number three for australia
Sachin Tendulkar, bats around number three for india. (his rating will be high 80's-early 90's for batting)

another tip would be to play against a low caliber bowling attack on easy.

Pietersen's power is insane, Ponting and tendulkar's technique are better.

just wait at the start of each ball, for the field radar at the bottom left to come up to see where the fielders are postioned and pick your target, and a backup target, as you dont know where the ball will be placed, (you could be aiming to hit it to your right and then face a yorker, (which generally needs to be defended with x button))

Also it should not take that long, i did it in about 80 balls with KP, but if your brave enough to take on the hardest difficulty, then my tip would be to defend a lot and to leave the b button alone completely. to attack wide balls and look for lots of singles, and rotate the strike as it keeps your batsmen confident.

shots that i found to be devastingly useful to score with is a cut shot (left trigger to play on back foot) and to cut it between the slip fielders and more square fielders, without a third man and good timing its already an easy two runs if not a boundary.

if the opponents leave a massive area open, take it.

The best batsman to use at a guess would be Sachin Tendulkar of India, though his name is obviously changed as all teams excluding England and Australia have fake names. The fake name should resemble Sachin Tendulkar though. The quickest way to get this achievement is to try and hit a boundary every ball that you can (beware yorkers though). Also saving does not ruin your chances of gaining the achievement so save as often as you want. Ta.

Best done in test matches. The option to save at any time is there, so should your chosen batsman get out simply reload a save and carry on. Just make sure you save often.
