On Mission 6, for your first play through you must be War Machine. It was pretty easy just make sure you don't close combat any of the other foes by hitting B, so you don't accidentally deflect a missile. Play on Easy also, as is suggested with the first Iron Man, you can beat it once on Easy, get all the good armor and weapon upgrades, and that makes going for the Formidable difficulty much easier.
