This will most assuredly happen throughout the course of the game on it's own. A "green in regulation" simply means that your ball has come to rest on the putting surface either on your 1st shot of a Par 3, your 2nd shot (or better) on a Par 4 or your 3rd shot (or better) on a Par 5.
