Note: To save yourself any unnecessary grief later on with the I Come in Peace trophy, get into the habit of scanning then slapping/kicking (press 
) every new creature you encounter but do note that contrary to popular belief, the creatures don't have to be alive for them to count towards either trophy. Also note, there's no in-game way to track which creatures you have and haven't slapped.
