This total is cumulative, so all of the money you escape with between multiplayer matches and arcade matches counts towards this. One way to expedite unlocking this achievement is to take turns with your teammates in multiplayer getting all of the cash, alternating rounds or matches.

This is a cumulative total. As you work on unlocking other achievements in the game, you'll gradually build up to this. Once you accumulated $25,000,000, you'll also unlock the Blackjacks & Hookers achievement.

A casual match will probably earn you about $1,000,000. If you go for the loot as fast as you can without clearing too many enemies, your teammates will spend some time behind you shooting. This gives you an early start on looting. A good map where you can use this method is the Airport. Once you enter the parking garage, you'll see another room different from the one you just entered to the left. This is where all the loot is. Shoot the explosive tank near the plane to take out a group of enemies there and then kill a few more enemies. Leave some for your team mates to handle. This gives you a good head start in looting. A match like this can easily net you over $2,000,000.

If you follow guides for the Lightning Looter achievement, you can easily escape rounds with $4,000,000, which is all of the loot existent in an arcade level, with the exception of that earned by taking out cops and goons. These guides demonstrate how to do this quickly, but simply getting the money isn't too hard. One of the locations where this method is commonly used is the Bridge map. After you enter the train and collect some of the loot, kill the friendlies that run down the front and finish collecting the loot in the train. Then, go outside and take out your other team mates one by one. It takes some practice to do this.

All of the money you escape with between the multiplayer and arcade modes counts for this achievement. As Cause said above, if you collaborate with multiplayer team mates or friends, you can take turns collecting all of the money in a round.
