Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

Rumor has it that this achievement is a little glitchy.

Game Type: Undercover Cop (Ranked)
Map: Airport
Required Players: 4

The best possible way to ensure you're going to get this to pop is to be a traitor.

Start up an Undercover Cop ranked match on Airport. All players should head to the hangar with the criminals killing all approaching NPC cops/goons. All players should then head to the the extraction point for this level (roof of the hangar), including the undercover cop. You DO NOT have to collect any loot (money/drugs).**



Once on the roof, determine who's going to get the achievement out of the three criminals. The undercover cop should stray away from the three criminals so he doesn't accidentally get mistaken as a criminal and get killed. The person going for the achievement should then kill both of the other criminals, becoming a traitor in the process.

This should leave a traitor and the undercover cop. As the traitor and, now, sole surviving criminal, kill the undercover cop. Once he's dead, jump in the helicopter to escape.

Note: This achievement will not pop up until you've returned to inter-round lobby where players can purchase weapons for the next round.

**UPDATE 3/27/2021 - It's been reported that some people are having issues unlocking the achievement without collecting any loot. Per HEXBaTAETyMA, the undercover cop should TAKE THE MONEY from the safe (truck, train, etc.) and remain undercover till the end of the round. Then, when all other robbers are killed by the gamer going for achievement, that gamer kills the undercover cop and escapes via chopper or car to unlock the achievement.

The hardest part of this is, paradoxically, not killing the Cop. When only one person is left alive on the map, the game counter immediately goes down to one minute left. For this reason, you need to be near the getaway vehicle when you kill the cop, or it's nigh-impossible to get there in time. (Most maps take about 1 minute to sprint from start to exit, taking shortcuts, and not getting shot at. If you add all the NPC cops into the equation, you'll never make it from the start.)

Here's the trick: Remember that the Undercover Cop is probably trying to get "Law Enforcer" (Personally kill every criminal as the Cop.). Even if they already have it, the achievement description is their goal. That means they'll be trying to kill as many criminals as possible, as fast as possible, before they can separate. Your job, if you want to survive, is to f*** that plan up. Immediately go for the loot. Only kill people while running (blindfire), don't stop. You need to get to the money ASAP.

Once there, start the looting. Emphasis on start. Once a crime is committed, the Cop can kill people, and that's your goal in this. (Remember, for this achievement only YOU can survive.) Then book it. Get about $100,000, and run (The reason for that number is it gives the other robbers a chance to catch up and start looting. Past that number, and you're lingering, and will be an unwilling participant in the inevitable slaughter).

If the Cop has any brains (and that may be a stretch), they'll start killing the other robbers while they mill around looting. Meanwhile, you ignore them all, and just focus on getting to the level end, clearing a way through. Even in a partially filled match, three people can take quite a while to kill. You have plenty of time, don't dawdle, but be sure you won't get killed on your way there. You might be wondering why you're going ahead of the cop (after all, don't you want to kill him?) but remember the second part of the achievement: You need to escape. And only you can make yourself get in the getaway vehicle. Just because it's there doesn't mean you need to get in.

Once you're at the level exit, wait. Let the cop come to you. Once they've killed the other robbers, they have no other obstacles (NPC cops don't shoot at the Undercover Cop), and will come to you (where else would they go?).

The best part is, they'll probably be panicked, and focusing more on speed than care. After all, from their perspective, the last criminal is at the level exit, waiting on a vehicle. They won't expect you to be on guard, much less waiting for them.

Then comes the easy part: Kill them. Honestly, that's the easiest part of the achievement. Shoot the person until they're dead. If you want to get fancy, you can drop a gas canister near a chokepoint towards the end, and aim at it when they come through. You can get an easy kill if you time it right.

Then it's just a matter of looting the corpse (They probably took the time to loot a few of the robbers, so they'll likely have a couple mill on them), and then making your escape. Congrats: You just got an easy 20g, plus you made off with a nice cash bonus.

If you want some tips on guns: The Kalingrad 74. (Seriously, this gun is beastly at short range, and if you fire in bursts, you can take down a human player from mid range with just a little luck. Plus, SWAT cops drop ammo for it sometimes, so that's a bonus.) The Gras 12 (Probably the best shotgun in the game, because of it's extended clip. Just remember to use it for CQC.) The Wasteland Hawk (Honestly, this gun is the longest range gun I ever use in the game. You can drop a player character from a safe distance, and reload in the time it takes for them to get up.) Avoid snipers, because human players take too little damage from them to be effective.

In my opinion, the best map for this achievement is Harbor, as it it's got couple of nice shortcuts for you to get to the end faster, plus, it's a difficult map for Law Enforcer, so the Cop will take longer to follow you.

WARNING: this achievement is tough, but possible.

This is one way to do it, and its how I won it.

You will need a friend, both of you will try to get host in undercover cop. Whoever gets host first will keep the game and then the other player will try to find host. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE POSITIVE PLAYER REVIEWS TO EACH OTHER, it may help.

As the host you will need to keep at least 1 spot open for your friend to join, if the game fills up you will need to get rid of some players. to do this switch to a downloadable content map as 99% of the players dont have this. You will see players start to leave. Now the person NOT hosting should be trying to quickmatch over and over untill he finds the game.

If after 30 minutes he can't find your game, you should try to change it up and let the other person host. I tried to find my friends game for 30 mins with no luck but when I hosted he found me in 5 minutes.

Ok so let's hope you found each other, at this point select a downloadable map that players dont have, when you do this the players names will go red which means they dont have the map. Wait untill only 4 players are in your game and press a quick.

Now odds are either you or your friend will be the undercover cop. So as soon as you can both of you should kill the other two players and then kill the undercover cop and escape.

We did this on the airport so that when somene kills the enemy ai the undercover cop can now kill both players and you can then kill him and run up the steps on the side of the hanger right up to the roof and escape. YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOOT!

This can be done legit, but its way harder!

First thing first - English is not my native language so I beg your pardon for grammar and other issues.

I was struggling to get Rat Killer achievement first time. I didn't know what I was doing wrong; basically I was following other guides but none of them mentioned one thing that appear to be critical to get the achievement.
So, basically (pretend you are the player going for achievement and you are boosting it with other gamers) you have to get to the escape area (usually marked with red smoke), get rid of any AI enemies and then eliminate all other teammates except one - undercover cop. Undercover cop (and that's the critical part) SHOULD GRAB SOME MONEY from safe (car, train etc.). After that the player going for achievement must kill the undercover cop and flee the scene. That's 1000% proof method I was using.
General tips:
- Any map would do, but the Bridge is the shortest (though it has some serious AI presence in evac zone);
- Undercover cop should stay at the spawn area until all the AI enemies are eliminated (just to be sure they won't be shot dead by AI;
- Undercover cop SHOULD GRAB SOME MONEY FROM THE VAULT (so don't be a greedy gangster, leave some paper for that rat - and then smoke'em ;).
