How to unlock the Hi-Scorer achievement in Katamari Forever - Definitive Guide

This is very easy, when you beat the game the first time and taken to the credits you will be able to play a mini game, 8 bit Katamari where you bounce a Katamari on a cloud and pick stuff up in the air, you lose the game if you fall off the cloud. So just be very careful, you have more then enough time to get 100,000 points if you don't fall. So just bounce up, pick up stuff in the air and 50,000 will come easily, and remember if you tap X you can slowly float downwards if your going to fast down thinking you might miss the cloud.

This is a very simple trophy and you will most likely get it during your first playthrough of this mini-game. After completing the level “The King's Dream”, you will find yourself in an eight-bit Katamari, in which you will need to collect various items by jumping on a cloud. Take your time and be careful, you have enough time to collect even 100,000 points here. Just jump and collect things until you reach 50,000 points, don't forget while falling you can quickly tap to slow down your falls , collect items or adjust course towards the cloud.
