Unfortunately, there is only one Boltgun on the map, and only one person can have it at a time. A new Boltgun will spawn if the last one that was picked up sits on the ground long enough to disappear from the map. Because of this, it is recommended that you obtain this trophy in an unranked game against bots that are set to the Recruit difficulty level. Get to the Boltgun first and it's yours as long as you stay alive and have ammo. You can use the repair perk to make an ammo cache for yourself, or drop it when you run out of ammo and wait for a fresh Boltgun to respawn. See Arctower Killer for ideal game settings.

Here's a tip from Xorro to make things easier: "Set the game so that pistols are the only weapon. This means that if you do die and lose the weapon it's easy to spot who's nicked it! Also the opposition can't defend themselves as well."
