How to unlock the Exterminator achievement in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Definitive Guide
Unfortunately you won’t find 50 Scav’s from visiting all the areas so you’ll have to go back to some. Best places are Cliffbreak Fasting and Undersea Fasting. Also during the fight with The Whispering Witch she will summon two or three to help her. If you ignore her she will summon more once you kill them so it’s a good place to farm them.

+1 ! =)
I've found more efficient to just farm Cliffbreak fasting, Undersea fasting is more walk and a bit mazy.
Just go to sleep 48h at Gravehal (only 24h is not enough), TP on Cliffbreak, take the round path right, there is 5 scavs quite quickly (so 10% of achievement), repeat until pop

Correct. Revisiting the areas you mentioned is the way to go.

Any Fasting on the Dead Kel DLC Contains Scavs, Also Flooded Cavern Where You Initially Start The Dlc. Rinse, Wash, and Repeat. ; ]
Scavs look similar to Niskaru, but also have a projectile acid they spit at you. You won't have 50 just by completing the main quest, so once you're done with that you can get about a dozen kills from just killing the ones in Undersea Fasting, Cliffbreak Fasting, and Souldeep Fasting, then sleep at Gravehal Keep for 48 hours to respawn them and repeat until it unlocks.
Note: If you kill a Scav with one hit (such as with a powerful Meteor spell), the kill for some reason will not count. Use normal weapon attacks to be safe.
