You will get this after you complete the 9 main story quests in the DLC. The last one is titled New Horizons and you will eventually end up in the Rathir Harbor and board the Chimera to leave Amalur forever. After boarding the achievement should unlock as you sail away.
This did not unlock for me the first time so I highly recommend you make a manual save before boarding in case you need to do it again.
