How to unlock the I Regret Nothing achievement in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Definitive Guide

This achievement is unlocked by jumping down into the open pit in the center of the Idylla concourse. The game auto-saves upon doing so though you might want to make your own insurance save. The action results in the player-character’s death necessitating the loading of a save file.

The achievement can be unlocked as soon as you gain entrance to Idylla. The earliest the achievement can be unlocked is right after the Shapen in Iniquity quest starts—it is the third main quest in the Teeth of Naros questline. As the player character arrives in Idylla and follows Secandra to the Primos Sanctuary, she pauses at the edge of the gaping hole in the center of the concourse and cautions the player-character. At any point after this, if you approach this hole and press cn_A to jump, the achievement will unlock. You get a game-over screen saying, “You have died.” You are given the choice of loading the last save, loading a save of your choice, or returning to the main menu.

The below video shows the first minute of play at the beginning of the Shapen in Iniquity quest. The player-character does not heed Secandra’s warning and jumps into the abyss as the game auto-saves and the achievement pops:

idylla is the city in the teeth of neros zone, you get there by starting the teeth of neros quest in the main questline tab under contact the expedition (10+) once in neros you will have two subquests before being able to enter idylla. Once those subquest are completed you can go to idylla, you will spawn on the concourse simply walk forward to the center square you will see a big pit with the press A to "jump down" your character will jump and die and you'll get the achievement, it will autosave at the zone entrance but its probably a good idea to save right before the jump

You can do this as soon as you first get to Idylla. When in Idylla, there's a huge pit in the middle of the city. Simply walk up to the edge, and press the command to jump off. You'll die and the achievement will pop. Save beforehand of course. This may seem missable because at a certain point during the main quest, the city becomes inaccessible. After completion of the main quest line however, you'll gain access to the city again and can jump to your death as you please.
