How to unlock the Master of the Forge achievement in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Definitive Guide
The achievement is unlocked when you use a blacksmith forge to create a weapon or piece of armor using four components and a gem. You must be at blacksmithing level 7 or higher to do so because this is the lowest level where you can include a gem in your crafting. Interact with a blacksmithing altar by approaching it and pressing and choose to craft. You'll see a list of the items you can forge. These are the items for which you have a 'core' component and the associated second component. For this achievement, you will also need two optional support components and a gem. The achievement pops once you accept piece of equipment crafted with four components and a gem.
For example, a five slot crafted longsword would include a weapon gem. At blacksmithing level 7 (or higher) and assuming you have a weapon gem and the necessary longsword components, interact with the forge to start the process. Place the blade, hilt, grip, rivets, and weapon gem in the appropriate slots choosing among your selection for each type. Review the completed weapon and press to accept it. The first time you forge such a piece of equipment using all five crafting slots, you will unlock the achievement.
If you need components, Olin Risberg at the Crafting Hall in Didenhil (Glendara sub-region) sells all crafting components you'll need except for the gem. There is a sagecrafting altar in the Crafting Hall where you can make a gem out of shards you pick up as loot or enemy drops. If you need to buy a gem, Brother Gamian at St. Hadwyn's Mission, also in Glendara just northwest of Didenhil sells gems of all varieties.
Level 7 Blacksmithing:
The simplest way to get to level 7 blacksmithing is to invest skill points as you level up. Note that if you start as the human Almain class, you begin with two blacksmithing points. All other races start with zero.
You can use trainers to get three of the required seven points. Halder Rodric is a basic blacksmithing trainer (he will train you if you are between levels 0-3). He’s at Shieldring Keep next to the forge. You can find him on your local map by looking for the small sword icon that depict trainers and the icon for a forge. Holte Frenn is another basic trainer at the United Merchants Delegation in Ysa. Efyr Dynnwel is an advanced blacksmithing trainer (levels 4-7). He becomes available at Ironfast Keep after you finish the “A Master's Touch” given by Gavroch Valle in Ironfast Keep. Note that you must also complete the quest In Time of Need given by Efyr during course of A Master’s Touch. Trainers increase your skill level by one point for a fee. Basic trainers charge 15,120 gold while advanced trainers charge 30,240 gold.
Bonus Blacksmithing Skill:
You can pick up the blacksmithing skill book while you are doing the Warsworn faction quests. During the Mystic Hammer mission, you go to the Hall of the Firstsworn. In the room with the forge, you’ll find two chests. The one on the right contains the Blacksmithing skill book. Read it to increase your blacksmithing level by a point.
You can buy Greater Blacksmith's Craft from Driadore Sele at the Arcadium in Adessa. This potion increases your blacksmithing skill by 2. If you are at level 5 and ingest the potion just before interacting with the blacksmithing altar, you will be able to craft five slot pieces of equipment. The effect is temporary but the potion will not wear off as long as you are in the forge's crafting menu regardless of how much of the effect was left when you started crafting.

There is an easy 5 minutes way to get this endgame if you did not while playing, i will be pairing it with :

This achievement requires a skill of 7 in Blacksmithing to unlock. You will need to create any item (weapon or armor) that uses all four component slots and one gem slot. Later in the game as you have looted more items, this will be much easier, but you can get it early on if you've got the right stuff or purchase the difference. Depending on the item you're trying to create, it will require a specific type of gem that you may not have.
